| Initial dig and gunite work went very smoothly, but John had a problem with his plumbing, electrical, and decking subcontractors - 3 weeks passed with no work on the pool during very excellent weather. John worked dilligently to solve the problem, but I would recommend modifying his payment schedule such that payment occurs AT COMPLETION of key milestones, rather than at the beginning. I would also recommend verification of his subcontractors' work history. |
